Mathematics was always Donna’s favorite subject, which led her to pursue a bachelor’s degree in accounting. After graduating from Saint Joseph’s University, she took many classes in tax preparation. While raising her young children, Donna took a part-time accounting position at a law firm. While at the time she was not familiar with the practice of law, she became intrigued by estate and trust administration work, where she could combine her accounting skills while interacting with clients, which she so enjoyed. After working there for many years, the firm dissolved, and she found herself looking for a new home. She found one at Ruggiero Law Offices, where she has worked for the last 8 years.
Practice Areas
With her expertise in estate and trust administration, Donna was able to jump right in to work alongside a very busy team. She enjoys helping people in their time of need, alleviating any fears, and making the estate administration process as smooth as possible for administrators and beneficiaries. She is responsible for handling an estate from beginning to end, with complete accountability. Also, with estate planning being a large practice area at Ruggiero’s, Donna has become adept at assisting clients in making sure their trusts are properly funded.
Outside the Office
Donna and her husband, Bert, have been blessed with two great sons, Zach and Shane, a wonderful daughter-in-law, Caitlyn, and their precious granddaughter, Sadie. Donna also has six siblings and enjoys spending lots of family time with them. Weekends, weather permitting, are all about boating on the Chesapeake Bay.
Why Ruggiero Law?
The firm allows Donna to enjoy a great work/life balance while fulfilling her need to make a difference in people’s lives.
